By donating to Shalom Village, you are enriching the lives of residents and participants by funding services and programs that help to preserve their independence, encourage participation in valued, meaningful activities, and enable them to remain vital contributors within the greater community.

What donations do

Shalom Village is a not-for-profit organization that owes its existence to the generosity of donors.

Each year the Millimobile makes more than 3900 trips to ensure that residents are able to access programs, services and recreational activities to support their health and wellbeing.
Goldies Adult Day Program accommodated more than 4700 visits annually from seniors living at home, providing them with a place to socialize and participate in activities with their peers.
Goldies 2 Home helps more than 2900 seniors each year with their rehabilitation after a hospital stay, allowing them to return to full health while living at home with their families and loved ones.
The Fitness Club at Shalom Village enjoys more than 22,000 visits annually from area seniors, who are able to maintain their fitness and health goals, while socializing with friends and neighbours to support their mental health.

These are just some of the examples of how donors empower and encourage us to accomplish our goals at Shalom Village. There are many more opportunities to support our work, make a difference in the lives of our residents and participants, and honour our fathers and mothers.
